He’s back at it—two years after graduating from the Mach I Aviation Challenge at Space Camp, Raith will make a triumphant return to Hunstville, AL, to take on Mach II! While Coronavirus kept Raith away from Huntsville this past summer, he is determined to earn his next set of wings in 2021! This fast-paced Mach II program will put campers to the test in their knowledge of aviation and teamwork. Raith will get to fly in a UAV drone simulator, experience the one-of-a-kind centrifuge, master aerial combat, and embark on an exciting search and rescue mission!
The summer Space Camp programs will be particularly special this year, as the U.S. Space and Rocket Center was hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic and experienced financial difficulties. Just one week after launching the “Save Space Camp” campaign, a large private donation pushed the initiative beyond its fundraising goal. Raith can’t wait to get back into action!
